Garage Door Spring Repair Service
How can I replace garage door springs?
The main component of a garage door is the spring. A wound torsion spring has a tremendous force to balance the weight of your garage door. Through the shaft, drums, cables and brackets, the force of springs is delivered to the garage door. A well adjusted and maintained garage door spring can be perfectly offset the weight of the garage door, and make the door be easily opened and closed. When the spring is broken, no lifting force exits. Your garage door becomes heavy and hard to be lifted.
Safety First. Do not attempt any garage door repairs unless you have all the proper tools and safety equipment.
If you have the tools and follow instructions, give a try to replace the broken spring.
1. Wear your protection goggles and gloves throughout the whole repair project.

3. Use winding bars to unwind the rest of springs if necessary, fully release spring tension. Never use screwdrivers or any others to unwind spring.
