Installation Tips:
Due to the unique mechanical system, installing a Wall Mount Garage Door Opener would be a challenging project. We are happy to share some useful tips below to tackle some potential issues you may encounter in the installation project.
Before your start-up, to study and follow the user manual is recommended.
Check the garage door for its smooth operation. Check the balance of the garage door. Adjust the balance is necessary. See my blog about the balance topic.
Fasten the screws of collar, and ensure the torsion bar of garage doors firmly connected to the door opener. Otherwise, the wall mount door opener would not be able to properly operate.
Before mounting the cable tension monitor, adjust the monitor position and maximize the monitor function. Some place may not be an ideal place to mount as the monitor can’t be widely open and allow the opener to operate. Fasten all screws on the monitor. Otherwise, the monitor will be disconnected and force the opener to stop working.
To install the power door lock can enhance the security of your house. Tighten both screws of the lock on the garage door track to prevent the lock from falling down.
After setting up both safety sensors, adjust the opener’s travel limitation and operation force.
